Perfection is folly.
Utter ridiculousness.
Photography both masks and unveils content.
Life can seem a bed of roses when it's merely a nesting-place for maggots.
The opposite applies too, of couse.
Aphid-eaten roses still brighten up my room.

i have rotten flowers in my room as well. they started to decay so quickly after i put them in a vase.-
i love it that you have a vessel day - i love that word i love what they are and if i didnt live with who i live with (we wont go into that) i would have a whole house filled with all sorts of vessels lining every wall. i like your idea of photographing vessels. just shows we are all connected in some way or another.
